About Sparrow Early Learning Baxter

Sparrow Early Learning Baxter is a 48 place centre; we provide care from 6 weeks of age through to school age. We have 4 rooms with a large outdoor area for the children to explore. Our centre prides itself on the amazing relationships we build with families, always encouraging their input and to become more involved within the centre and community. Our programs are based on the developmental needs of children & their interests through play-based learning, ensuring all children are reaching their learning outcomes.

Our aim is to provide a safe, secure and supportive environment incorporating natural play spaces for the children to explore using their sensory capabilities. We wish to encourage, inspire and extend each child’s learning and help prepare them for the transition to school and life.

Teaching and guiding children is my passion and having the opportunity to support and mentor team members to provide a curriculum that encourages children to express themselves is a privilege.

I believe having open honest relationships with families & children are up most important.

I’m passionate about my job and I’m results driven. I love seeing and being part of the moments when a child and or team member proudly achieves something.

I have really enjoyed my journey here at Baxter so far, getting to know the children, families and educators. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this home away from home service.

Enrolment process

Our childcare centre in Baxter promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.
