About Sparrow Early Learning Centre Mount Samson

Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Mount Samson ! Our lovely 75 place centre is situated in picturesque Mount Samson, a semi-rural area north-west of Brisbane.

We provide early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age divided into 4 warm and homely rooms: Nursery, Junior Kindy, Senior Kindy and Kindergarten.

Service Manager at our Childcare Centre, Mount Samson

My name is Chrissy and I am proud to be the Service Manager here at Sparrow Mount Samson.

After being a private nanny for 16 years, I began my journey at this centre in July 2020 working 1 day a week in the kitchen. I have worked my way through many roles and have come to learn I enjoy both the early years learning education and care as well as a leading a team of creative and caring educators. Read more.

My goal is to create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children can explore and learn though play. I want to empower children to love learning, as it sets the stage for a lifetime of curiosity, exploration, and enjoyment.

I have a strong connection with this community and I am passionate about making our centre the best it can be.

I value the importance of building strong relationships with children and their families where they feel supported and connected.

We are a family here at Sparrow Mount Samson and I look forward to welcoming you into this wonderful family.

Enrolment process

Our childcare centre in Mount Samson promotes an open-door policy where families can visit and walk through the centre at any time during operational hours.

Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.

Once enrolled, the orientation process begins. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.

After coming from a centre where they ignore bullying at 3 years old, to this gorgeous, natural, country centre, where the staff really care, every time i walk in there it’s the warmest welcome, genuine, lovely people. My son is thriving, stopped stuttering after only 3 months attending this centre, the kids experience the outside world, they get to go outside and explore nature, so many great activities for the kids to do.
